On December 9, 2014, the ‘Extended Knowledge’ reading group met to discuss Mark Alfano and Gus Skorburg’s work in progress, entitled “The Embedded and Extended Character Hypotheses.” Apart from Mark and Gus’ excellent paper, which sparked a lot of interesting conversation, this was an exceptional meeting as it was also the first time we had both authors present via Skype video call.
The discussion, which was recorded, can be accessed here.
Due to the success of this event, we would like to invite anyone who is working on the topic of ‘Extended Knowledge’ to send us their drafts, which we would be delighted to discuss during the reading group with them via Skype.
Here is a screenshot from last time, with all the participants both from Edinburgh and Oregon (top left corner).
